Update what I am watching. rec's, stationary.

What am I currently watching?

This documentary uncovers the ancient treasures of the Indian sub-continent that have shaped the modern Indian world. Like, Art of Persia, these documentaries are long overdue. I love that this was fronted by Sona Datta as you really can see her passion and love for India come through. It uncovers history that is not really talked about, or that is brushed over. It highlights how major civilisations and ideologies started from Pakistan/India, the impact of the partition, the impact and influence the Mughals have left. It led the path for the greatest artistic golden ages on earth. Digs into religions and cultures this documentary is one to be watched. I feel like should be a compulsory watch in high school because has given me more of an education than school ever did.

On Netflix I have finished Downtown Abbey- I am still trying to recover I am literally obsessed- that I have created a Pinterest board obviously- will link down below. I finished the series of Liar which was amazing series 2 better than series 1. Also, the Pieces of Her adaptation was really good as well- but sadly not better than the book.

Over on IPlayer I have finished watching The Secrets She Keeps- series 1 although really good I felt how it was portrayed in the book was better than the adaptation- also shoutout to the characters who did a superb job- series 2 was just amazing and so much better though also that ending what Agatha I should hate you but I feel for you definitely paves a way for series 3 which I cannot wait for also I need a release date please.

What have you all been watching any recommendations?

A mid-year diary- who even am I? I don’t usually buy a mid-year diary because I already have a diary in progress, but I couldn’t resist buying this because I mean it has everything it looks so pretty, and it will carry me into 2024- omg just the thought of that is so scary. My go-to normally is an A5 spiral bound, but because I have wanted the Carrie and Co planner since forever (cannot justify the price- if someone else is buying though I am game) and when I saw this, I thought this is the next best thing and it literally has everything. I am not used to the size, but I can get over that because it has to-do lists, a yearly-monthly overview planner type thing, induvial dates and holidays and stickers! It started from August but I just used my old diary- which I will continue to use until the end of the year. But from September I will be using this as work and uni begins again and I will do a little blog post about my diary how I use it-is is productive etc probably end of December-start of Jan (need to get that in the diary). Also, my Stabilo highlighters perfect for highlighting, annotating, journaling and of course highlighting key dates in the diary.

I will keep you updated, be in touch very soon.

With Love and Dua's.
