The Books I Read in July 2023

Hi Page Turners,

This month I read 7 books probably because I was too busy watching Wimbledon and trying to make the most of the summer days. Here is the books I did manage to read this month.

I read Counterfeit by Kristen Chen and it was a book that I read that I really enjoyed and it had been a long time since I felt like that. A book about designer bags and family, pressure and trying to hold everything together. A great book I would recommend. Full review here- https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5667185282

I then read a thriller called The Other Guest by Heidi Parks. It was a thriller about a holiday and people watching and really knowing the person(s) you have known for a long time. I gave it a 4* full review here- https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5672333679

The Binding by Bridget Collins I loved it to start with and was so excited to get into it but I just skimmed the last half of it because I couldn't get into it.

The next book I picked up was All The Houses I've Ever Lived In by Keiran Yates. Possibly my favourite non-fiction book or at least it will make top five because it's a book that I have been thinking about a lot. A really insightful, thought-provoking book about the failing UK housing system and how it is such a let down for the under-privalaged. Great, great book hugely recommend to all. Review here- https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5689944

Best of Friends by Kamila Shamsie a book I really enjoyed and that I finished super quickly which has been a while since that happened. You can find my review here-https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5704004078

The Whispers by Ashley Audrain was a great thriller i enjoyed it a lot better than The Other Guest however I didn't enjoy it as much as I did with her first thriller book she published. Probably because it wasn't as original as I expected. Review here- https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5556753249

The last book I read in July was The Good Left Undone by Adriana Trigiani. I love anything Trigiani writes and her books are such comfort and my go to when I need anything uplifiting, family oriented and just a good romance fluffy light hearted book. This probably wasn't my favourite out of all the books I have read of hers but still really enjoyable. Find my full review here- https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4692956617

So there it is my 7 books I read in July. What did you read in July any 5* reads if so let me know in the comments below. If your looking for any recommendations maybe but a few from above on your TBR and let me know how you find them. Or if you have read any of the above let me know how you found it and if you agree with my review of it. Have an awesome reading month in August and make the most of the blue sky because it is getting more limited 😀.

With Love and dua's
